This blog is an attempt to enhance access to internet poker forums and strategy articles by allowing a community of readers to share links, cross-post, and discuss all of the material in one spot.
I like it with one small caveat:
ReplyDeletethere is no such thing as solid advice on cbetting in general, especially with showdown bound hands like tpwk.
Nobody admits it, but even as low as 5NL, I think preflop, you have to know your action with A5o when the board comes A93 rainbow. You should generally know how often you would bet 1,2, or 3 streets for value and which streets would be the best in this spot and by how much. With that in mind, you should also know what will make you fold and whether or not it will take two bets, a raise, or one bet.
This sounds insanely conservative, but I think it is clearly a spot where the decision to exploit or balance is right there even at the baby stakes.
